East Mallorca Girls Cup 2023 Football Tournament Presentation
The Mallorcan Cata Coll will be the godmother of honor
Almost a thousand players, divided into 48 teams from different countries, will participate in the large international concentration of female soccer players at ages U-12, U-14 and U-16, which will be held in the Cala Millor area, in Mallorca, from October 12 to 15. It is probably the best women’s grassroots football tournament in Europe. The recently proclaimed World Champion with the Spanish National Team, Cata Coll, will be the honorary godmother of the international tournament.

On Wednesday, October 11, at 12:30 p.m., the official presentation of the East Mallorca Girls Cup international grassroots soccer tournament will take place at the ‘Sa Màniga’ Auditorium in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar (Carrer Son Galta, 4, Cala Millor). 2023, which will be held from October 12 to 15 on the fields of Cala Millor, Son Servera, Artà and Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, in Mallorca (Balearic Islands).
Forty-eight teams (record participation), including Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Paris Saint Germain, Athletic Club de Bilbao, Atlético de Madrid, Bayer Munich and teams from northern Europe (see attached document), have confirmed their participation in this event. Even an Australian team is, for the first time, among those registered.
The Balearic Islands will be represented by La Salle de Palma, Artà and Escolar de Capdepera.
CATA COLL
The Mallorcan goalkeeper Cata Coll (Marratxí, April 23, 2001), will be the honorary godmother of this fifth edition of the East Mallorca Girls Cup. Recently proclaimed World Champion with the absolute Spanish women’s team, Coll is currently a player for FC Barcelona . Spain, with Coll in goal, defeated the England National Team (1-0) in the final of the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand held in Sydney on August 20. The first matches will begin on Thursday the 12th in the afternoon, and once the finalist teams for the groups in each category are known, the finals will be on Sunday the 15th in the morning.
Admission will be free to the public for all matches.
This leisure-sports concentration is sponsored by the Son Servera and Sant Llorenç des Cardassar Tourism Consortium, which includes the Cala Millor and Sa Coma Hotel Association. The town councils of Sant Llorenç and Son Servera are also immersed in the project. The organization has various collaborating entities.
