Cala Bona has become one of the most accessible beaches in the whole of Mallorca and is the first to have been awarded the AENOR UNE 170001 Standard Certificate for Universal Accessibility.

There are no longer any architectural barriers and the beach can be reached by anybody, whatever their physical capabilities, with every guarantee and all the services adapted. Facilities include reserved parking spaces, access ramps and walkways to move about on the beach and reach the water. The walkways have coloured strips on each side to assist the visually impaired.

Other services are a first aid post and adapted toilet cabins with WC, changing rooms and showers. Flotation elements and amphibious wheelchairs and crutches are also available to those who need them. There is a special shaded area with personalised assisted bathing services offered by lifeguards trained in accessibility. This service is available from 10 am to 1 pm.

Your vehicle can be parked free of charge and the access road is clearly indicated.

This quiet beach is divided into three smaller beaches by small stone breakwaters. Nearby you will find the small fishing port of Cala Bona with its many bars, restaurants and shops.
